Well last night wasn't too wet but it certainly was muddy. It was pretty tough going for many and there were a few brief tears. However I was so proud of Courtney, Millie, Jessica, Humna who battled on to the end despite initial woes.
It was a late night and most people were pretty tired. The girls did well to settle reasonably quickly. However the boys took a little longer. One or two will be dead beat by lunchtime I predict!
A big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our two birthday boys, Shae and Turyib! I'm sure this will be one to remember.
A very impressive early rise from most this morning and eagerness to do chores before breakfast! We eat at 8:30 and I think I can smell bacon...
Well done, everyone, adults included, on surviving the first (challenging) evening relatively unscathed. Our house seems very quiet for some reason. Have a great day - very well done, Humna, Jessica, Millie and Courtney!
